Yes - In general we can access your MS Exchange based email. You’ll need a Peek Pronto and the Peek servers must be able to access the MS Exchange server via the public internet. If you use a VPN or use a Security ID key/dongle you’ll need to discuss options with your IT administrators to have your email forwarded to a publicly available account like GMail/Hotmail/AOL or Yahoo!
We can access your MS Exchange based emails in three ways:
1) Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) - this is the preferred method of accessing your MS Exchange email and the most common
2) Outlook Web Access (OWA) - We can access your email using OWA however it has a few restrictions:
- • We support MS Exchange server version 2003 and 2007
- • If you see “CookieAuth.dll” in the URL of the Outlook Web Access login screen that means that the server has Internet Security and Acceleration Server which we don’t support
- • In general, only authorized signed SSL certificates will be supported. If the Exchange server doesn’t use SSL that’s OK too
- • If you’re lucky enough to have a snazzy custom Outlook Web Access login screen for your Exchange server, we might not be able to collect your email
- • In general, a web page form based login is essential. If you’ve got a pop-up dialogue box that prompts for the username and password it may not work
3) POP3 - we can access MS Exchange servers over POP3
